Ring Road Street Outreach
We took tech to the streets — reaching more than 6,000 young people at one of Benin City's busiest junctions.
The Tech Advantage was born on the street. Every morning on the way to my place of assignment, I saw children whose whole day was about survival. So on 3rd December 2025 we went back to them.
With a marching band, banners and a team of corps members in uniform, we took over Ring Road, Benin City for a direct street and community outreach. In five-minute bursts — all the time you get on a busy street — we shared a simple message: technology is for you too.
Children and teenagers held up handmade signs: "I deserve to learn tech." "I want to build the next Facebook." Those words are why TTA Africa exists.

6,278 young people reached — 3,720 boys and 2,558 girls — our biggest single outreach of Edition 1.
